These paintings were created in spring 2024. I have always enjoyed the large flowers on Dogwood trees. Their big white flower stands out against the fresh green of the new spring leaves. I realized that I encountered many of these trees in brownstone Brooklyn. I incorporated them on top of the house paint abstractions using a photo transfer method. The oak picture frames were created from an old oak table top.
